Wimbledon Day at Hatton
All welcome to our Wimbledon Day on Sun 4th July. There will be a television courtside (actually in our wooden cabin which is near enough), strawberries and cream and some other nibbles as well as some tennis to be played if you want to emulate the style of the finalists on the telly (or even if you don't!!). All quite informal but good fun.
Cost £1 / head.
From 1.30pm

Quiz night
I'm sure everyone who was at the quiz night would like to thank Bill Watson who was an excellent quiz-master. The winners were Paul, Ian & Christine Thomson, who, it must be admitted, had the benefit of youth on their side. The runners up were Yvonne McRaith-Smith with Heather & Jim Hughes; Lynn & Jim Brown with Caroline & Mike Newton (yes - that's 4 people) and Louise Foster with Sharon and Stuart Dow.
Heather did a fine job of organising the night and the catering.

When can I play tennis?
We don’t have a court booking system.
Play is in order of arrival.
Juniors have priority on 2 courts on Saturday afternoons and seniors have priority at all other times.
If people are waiting, please have one short set then mix in.
Please don’t play singles if people are waiting.
Monday & Wednesday evenings are for men’s social tennis. Tuesdays & Thursdays for ladies.
Families & children will normally have no trouble getting a court on weekdays up till 6pm, and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.
Juniors whose game is of a good enough standard will be invited in writing to join the adults at any time.
There will be times when courts are unavailable due to matches etc. Keep an eye on the notice-board and your email for details.
